Is Lagos Life free to play?

Last updated: 2026-10-16

Yes — Lagos Life is free to play in your browser, and spending real money is optional: it only buys in-game naira, according to the game's terms of service as summarised by GoSub.

There is no entry fee, no subscription and nothing to download; you can register and start playing at lagoslife.app in a couple of minutes.

Details

The game's terms state that the virtual currency has no real-world value and cannot be withdrawn or sold, so the free experience is the whole game rather than a trial.

Optional purchases exist for players who want naira faster, but every career, location and system is reachable without paying, per community guides.
